Expedition Journal: Irdumed

 Expedition Journal In the early autumn of the year 93, the dwarven armies of The Castle of Forever laid siege to Nassmuloz, "Dankscar", the northernmost goblin settlement in The Eastern Peninsula. As news of the victory reached the capital of Nishurdim, "Tradetowers", the reigning queen Momuz Limulzon gave a royal decree. A fortress was to be built nearby, to quell any and all insurrections and to stake a claim in the hitherto-unclaimed north-eastern regions of the peninsula.  A site was selected in the craggy, cold shrublands of the northeast, in the mountains overlooking Nassmuloz, both an observation post and a perfect link to the capital and its armies. After some deliberation, the river Ekirroszed was incorporated into the claim, to provide water for underground irrigation and also to provide a source of fresh water, both for drinking and the fortress.
